Tenth Annual ‘Haleef al-Quran’ Festival held to shed light on biography of Zaid the Martyr
Zaid the Martyr Holy Shrine witnessed the establishment of the Tenth Annual ‘Haleef Al-Quran’ Festival, in the presence of a number of official and popular personalities and followers of AhlulBayet, peace be upon them.
The festival, which was held under the slogan (Zaid the Martyr. Ally of the Qur’an and Knight of the Field), shed light on the life and positions of Zaid the Martyr and what he offered in order to support the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The Special Secretary of the Shrine, Sheikh Qassem al-Hasnawi, said in a statement to (Shia Waves Agency): “The festival included an opening session, a photographic exhibition, as well as a scientific conference in which a group of academic researchers participated.”
While a member of the Board of Directors of the General Secretariat of Shia Shrines, Ali Mahdi, said: “The festival is held as an affirmation of the glorification of the rituals of God and sends an important message on reviving the cause of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), their biography and the biography of their venerable companions.”
