Muslims are achieving progress in American society, according to a survey
American Muslims are achieving progress in American society and are more likely than other residents to open a business or work full time, according to a new survey.
According to the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding (ISPU), Muslims in the United States are more likely to have a college degree than other Americans in the general population who are 25 or older.
46% of Muslims are graduating from college, compared to 38% of the general American population overall.
The survey also found that 8% of American Muslims are self-employed or own their own business.
