Chinese TV broadcasts ceremonies of Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Holy Karbala

The Chinese TV broadcasted the ceremony of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in holy Karbala while hosting the channel at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine in coordination with the International Media Center affiliated to the Shrine’s Media Department.

 The Chinese TV correspondent in Iraq, Hussein Al-Fartousi, said in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, “Under the direction of the Chinese (Infinix TV) channel, we headed to holy Karbala to broadcast the ceremonies of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”

 Al-Fartousi added that “the distinctive spiritual atmosphere and rituals were wonderful, with the participation of millions, as the number of pilgrims reached over 20 million, noting that “Chinese television has been broadcasting these ceremonies on the tenth of Muharram and the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.”

The correspondent added that “The Chinese people love Iraq and its civilization and the religious rituals.”

It is worth mentioning that this year’s Arbaeen Pilgrimage witnessed a large influx of pilgrims from all over the world which exceeded 21 million.
