Martyrdom commemoration of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, at the house of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi
On the arrival of the mourning month of Muharram, the House of the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, in the holy city of Qom, hosts commemorations for Imam Hussein’s martyrdom, peace be upon him. The believers, clerics, scholars as well as the Grand Shia Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi, may God grant him a long life, attend these martyrdom commemoration ceremonies.
The lecturers in these ceremonies address the uprising of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, in bringing reform, and standing against injustice and tyranny. Eulogies are also recited.
It is worth noting that the House of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi will continue to host these commemoration ceremonies for thirteen consecutive days, both in the morning and in afternoon, in Persian and Arabic.
