Sayyed al-Shuhada Int’l Committee celebrates completion of house no. (250) within Houses of Poor Project
The Sayyed al-Shuhada International Committee (peace be upon him), which is affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority and is headquartered in Kuwait, celebrated the completion of house no. 250 as part of its great humanitarian project to house the poor, which it is implementing in several African countries.
The committee, in a statement received by (Shia Waves News Agency), today, said that “the lack of accommodation for many poor families and the high prices are no longer local problems, but in various countries of the world, even economically advanced countries, which requires extending a helping hand to these families and assisting them.”
The statement added that “Sayyed al-Shuhada International Committee (peace be upon him) launched the low-cost housing project for the poor in Africa, and the launch was at the end of the year (2018) and includes building small homes for poor Shia families who have difficulty finding shelter.”
The statement continued, “In approximately 3 and a half years, the Committee was able to build (250 houses) in more than one African country with the blessings of Abi Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him),” noting that “this great humanitarian work continues with the directives and blessings of the Shirazi Religious Authority to support poor families, especially the followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them).”
