More than two million pilgrims participate in the revival of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hadi, peace be upon him, in Samarra

Yesterday, the al-Askariyain Holy Shrine announced that more than two million pilgrims participated in the revival of the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Al-Hadi, peace be upon him, at his holy shrine in the holy city of Samarra.
An official from the Holy Shrine, Engineer Laith Jassim, said in a statement, “The number of pilgrims, according to the data provided by the local authorities, starting from Thursday, 1 Rajab, until the preparation of this statement, amounted to more than 2 million from different provinces and countries, with the participation of more than 320 service tents and more than 70 committees supporting the Holy Shrine, along with more than 3750 volunteers, 27 media organizations and 120 journalists.”
The Holy Shrine offered thanks and gratitude through its statement to the religious authority, the holy shrines, and the service and security ministries that contributed to the success of the pilgrimage.
