The sermons of the imams of mosques and Husseiniyahs, even from the Sunni sects, focused on benefiting from the concepts of the Karbala incident, the Day of Ashura, and the events that took place in those virtuous days.
The clerics affirmed in their lectures that were followed by Shia Waves that “the Karbala incident is a common pain for the Islamic nation, and it is a wound in our history.”
Various Turkish cities, including the capital Istanbul, are witnessing special mourning ceremonies to commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and to support his humanitarian cause.
