Thousands of Ahlulbayt lovers participate in the blessed ritual ‘Twereej Run’ in Karbala

Thousands of Ahlulbayt lovers have taken part in the blessed ‘Twereej Run’ ritual on Ashura afternoon in Karbala, to express their mourning over the tragedy of Karbala and the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The mourners set out from the Qantara al-Salam towards the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The holy city of Karbala witnesses, every year, the participation of thousands of Shia in the blessed ritual.
