Many Arab, Islamic and European cities around the world have witnessed in their mosques, Husseiniyahs and centers, the organization of mourning ceremonies and processions as well as self-flagellation rituals such as Tatbir on the occasion of Ashura.
As in every year, Shias are determined to revive the painful tragedy and mourn for what happened to Imam Hussein and his family, peace be upon them, on Ashura, affirming that they will continue to revive the Husseini rituals to show the extent of their love to the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him.
