Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Encourage young people to read and memorize the Noble Quran and to follow its verses

The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, stressed the need to attract young people to Quran sessions to learn to read, memorize and interpret the Holy Quran and follow its verses.
The Grand Ayatollah said, in his recommendations posted by his Eminence’s office, and followed by Shia Waves, “Parents should strive to attract young people to Quran sessions to learn to read, memorize and interpret the Noble Quran and follow its verses.”
His Eminence added, “You should urge the sisters who know the recitation and interpretation of the Quran and who are able to teach its rulings and concepts to hold sessions for young women,” stressing that “attention to the Holy Quran is a duty on everyone so that it may intercede for them in attaining high ranks in Paradise.”
Moreover, the institutions and forums affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in Iraq witness the establishment of religious and jurisprudential courses and the teaching of the Noble Quran for various ages, including youth and young adults, especially during the summer holidays, in accordance with the recommendations of His Eminence in spreading the culture of the Noble Quran.
