In Karachi, main demo was staged in front of Khoja Isna Ashari Jamey Masjid Kharadar, after Friday prayers.
Similar protest rallies were reported from Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, Matli, Jamshoro, Matiari, Tando Allah Yar, Naushehro Feroze, Khairpur, Kashmore, Jacobabad, Multan, Quetta, Lahore, Islamabad/Pindi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kohat, DI Khan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The protesters condemned the unabated targeted killing of innocent Shia Muslims in Dera Ismail Khan. They said that “PTI government too failed to control takfiri terrorism”. They said “people had pinned high hope in the PTI government but it too dashed their hope. “
They demanded of the Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief of the Army Staff to take notice of the terror attacks on Shia Muslims in DI Khan. They said they would have to begin a non-stop protest movement if the terrorists are not annihilated.
