The Christians of Baranaqah Village in the Egyptian province of Beni Suef hung a sign in the streets of the village in solidarity with the Muslims and rejected the insult done to the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his progeny.
The sign reads: “The Copts of the village of Baranaqah are in solidarity with their Muslim brothers against the insult to the Islamic religion and its honorable Messenger.”
Jamal Hosni Belmaash, Christian villager, said, “The initiative to put up the sign came in solidarity with our Muslim brothers with whom we have lived for decades in love and tolerance.”
