Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Know the Prophet of Mercy and his true life through his family, not from those who are hostile to them

The issue of insulting the Noble Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, by publishing offensive cartoons and the French President’s statements to allow them to be published under the pretext of freedom of opinion and expression is not something new, as similar works preceded it in previous periods, which the rational authority condemned in the strongest terms and called for knowledge of true Islam.
Five years ago, the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Shirazi, delivered a speech to non-Muslims, Westerners and others, who insulted the status and personality of the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his progeny, calling on them to know the unique character of the Prophet, and not from the terrorist movements that claim Islam falsely, adding that “the history of the Prophet of Islam, peace be upon him and his progeny, which was passed on by the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, is a unique history, and its style is unique as well.”
The Grand Ayatollah concluded saying that the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, is the apex in all dimensions of virtue.
