13 Thul Hijjah marks demise anniversary of Mirza Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi
The thirteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah marks the Hundredth demise anniversary of the leader of the Iraqi revolution against British colonialists, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Mirza Muhammed Taqi al-Shirazi (may Allah bless his soul), who died at 1338 AH, 1920 AD at the age of 82 years.
The thirteenth of Dhu al-Hijjah marks the Hundredth demise anniversary of the leader of the Iraqi revolution against British colonialists, Grand Ayatollah Sheikh Mirza Muhammed Taqi al-Shirazi (may Allah bless his soul), who died at 1338 AH, 1920 AD at the age of 82 years.
His eminence was born in Shiraz city on 1256 AH. And buried at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The Late Grand Ayatollah wrote many books including a group of books in jurisprudence and jurisprudential explanations.
Grand Ayatollah Sheik Muhammad Taqi al-Shirazi, may Allah bless his soul, had issued a verdict on the participation in the holy war against the British colonialists, where his eminence defended Islam and Muslims in Iraq in the well known revolution on 1920.
