India, is organizing a two-day International Conference on “Social and Spiritual Teachings
Professor K. A. Nizami Centre for Quranic Studies in Aligarh Muslim University, India, is organizing a two-day International Conference on “Social and Spiritual Teachings of the Quran in Contemporary Perspective” on April 4-5, 2016.
There will be four academic sessions in this conference as rights discourse in the Quran (Rights of Allah, Rights of one’s own self and soul, Rights of the fellow human beings), The Quran as lived by the Prophet, peace be upon him and his progeny, Aesthetic aspects of the Quran and Sciences of Quran in the light of modern social sciences.
Session IV aims at shedding light on how the social sciences can help in an improved understanding and a better and fuller appreciation of the relevant Quranic verses.
