Imam Shirazi World Foundation has released a statement calling on Arbaeen’s pilgrims to avoid controversial issues in the upcoming mass pilgrimage.
The statement said that Arbaeen pilgrimage has spiritual and moral implications; in addition, it could be a source for unity harmony, compassion, and reformation.
The statement added that certain groups tried to politicize Arbaeen pilgrimage of last year by daring on some religious authorities; calling on the pilgrims to avoid controversial issues in the upcoming mass pilgrimage as such behavior reflects the original message of Ashura.
