Syrians took part in sit-ins held in several Syrian cities
Many Syrians took part in sit-ins held in several Syrian cities, calling for the break of the siege imposed by the al-Qaeda affiliated rebels on two Shia towns in northwestern Syria, a monitor group reported.
The sit-ins were held in several areas in the northern city of Aleppo and the central Homs province, to protest against the siege the so-called jihadi groups imposed on the Shia towns of Kafraya and Foa, according to the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
In Homs, the protesters blocked several roads in the city, saying they will keep their sit-in until the siege breaks.
Similar protest took place also in the capital Damascus a day earlier, when hundreds of protesters, held their sit-in on the road between Damascus and its international airport, urging the Syrian forces to break the siege and help the civilians.
