Grand Ayatollah Shirazi Calls for Global Promotion of Fatimid Rituals, Lady Fatima’s Sermon

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has called for the worldwide promotion of Fatimid commemorations and greater awareness of the religious message and teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

In guidance issued ahead of the Fatimid mourning days, marking the anniversary of her martyrdom according to the narration placing it 75 days after the Holy Prophet’s (peace be upon him and his family) passing, the religious authority stressed the responsibility of believers to share her legacy with people worldwide.

He particularly highlighted the importance of introducing the Fadak Sermon, emphasizing its historical, doctrinal and moral significance, as well as Lady Fatima’s defense of truth and religious principles.

Al-Shirazi urged believers and religious and media institutions to use the Fatimid season to spread her teachings and preserve the legacy of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
