11th International Istanbul Arabic Book Fair to Open on August 15
——————————
The 11th International Istanbul Arabic Book Fair will open on August 15 at the Yenikapı Eurasia Exhibition and Art Center, bringing together more than 300 publishing houses from over 30 countries.
Organized in cooperation with the Turkish Publishers Association, the International Association of Arabic Book Publishers, and the Turkish Printing and Publishing Association, the fair is expected to welcome more than 120,000 visitors.
Recognized as the largest Arabic book fair outside the Arab world and accredited by the Arab Publishers Union based in Cairo, the event aims to become a major platform for publishers, academics, writers, and readers.
The fair will feature cultural programs, copyright and translation meetings, and opportunities for publishers, translators, and industry professionals to discuss new projects and international cooperation.
The event will also host the TULIA (Turkish Literature in Arabic) project, which promotes the translation of Turkish literature into Arabic and highlights cooperation between Turkish authors and Arabic-language publishers.
Held under the theme “The Story Continues,” the fair will run from August 15 to 23, with participation expected from cultural officials, organizations, and representatives from several Arab countries.
