Activists Call on Muslims to Highlight Holy Prophet’s Sacrifices, Share His Message with World

Religious activists have emphasized that devotion to Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) requires loyalty and commitment to honoring his status, sacrifices and mission of spreading the divine message and guiding humanity from darkness to light.

The statements were made in remarks to Shia Waves Agency on the occasion of commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).

The activists said that Muslims have a responsibility to preserve the memory of the Prophet’s sacrifices and continuously introduce his noble biography and teachings to the world. They stressed that the Prophet’s message was not limited to a particular nation or region, but was a universal message intended for all humanity.

They added that many of the challenges and divisions facing Muslims today stem from historical injustices and attempts to distort the image of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) and his purified household (peace be upon them).

The activists also addressed repeated offenses against the Prophet in some Western contexts, attributing them to efforts to obscure his true biography through misinformation and distorted historical narratives. They called for greater unity among Muslims and stronger efforts to defend the Prophet’s message and present his teachings accurately.

They further highlighted previous calls by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who has urged Muslims to dedicate their efforts to introducing the Prophet’s enlightened life, character and governance to people around the world.

The activists concluded that spreading awareness of the Prophet’s values of mercy, justice and guidance remains an essential responsibility for Muslim communities globally.
