Coordination Meeting Held in Afghanistan’s Herat Province to Facilitate Arbaeen Pilgrimage Arrangements

With the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein approaching, local officials and representatives of pilgrimage service companies in Afghanistan’s Herat province held a coordination meeting to discuss measures aimed at facilitating the travel of Afghan pilgrims to the holy sites in Iraq.

According to reports from the Afghan Telegram channel “Khabar Taza Afghanistan,” the meeting was held at the Herat Directorate of Information and Culture, where participants reviewed ways to improve coordination between relevant institutions and pilgrimage caravans.

Officials emphasized the importance of organizing transportation and travel arrangements, strengthening cooperation among service providers, and ensuring better support for pilgrims during their journey to and from the holy shrines.

The meeting is part of preparations by Afghan authorities and pilgrimage organizations to streamline the movement of pilgrims participating in the Arbaeen commemoration and enhance the services provided to them.
