The Global Nonviolence Organization (Freemuslim Association) welcomed the diplomatic efforts underway at the Cairo meeting focused on the aftermath of the Gaza war, describing it as a vital step toward achieving a permanent ceasefire and a stable future for Palestinians.

In a statement received by Shia Waves Agency, the organization urged all participating parties to assume their moral and historical responsibilities by turning current understandings into binding mechanisms that prevent future escalation and ensure a full lifting of the blockade on Gaza.

The group highlighted the catastrophic humanitarian situation in the enclave and called for the immediate and sustained opening of all crossings to allow food, medicine, fuel, and shelter supplies to enter.

It also stressed the need for large-scale reconstruction and psychological support for affected civilians, especially children and women. The organization concluded by reaffirming that nonviolence remains the only path to achieving lasting justice and peace.
