ISIS Attack in Deir ez-Zor Kills Five SDF Members

The media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that five of its members were killed and one injured in an attack by ISIS militants in eastern Deir ez-Zor.

According to Kurdpress, the assault targeted SDF positions near the town of Bahra Vista on Thursday, September 25, and led to heavy clashes between the two sides.

The attack marks another escalation of ISIS activity in the region, where sleeper cells continue to launch deadly operations despite ongoing counterterrorism campaigns.
