Canada Hosts Celebration for Birth Anniversaries of Holy Prophet and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq

The Shirazi World Center and the Iranian Islamic Center of Montreal hosted a celebration marking the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (peace be upon them both).

The event featured a keynote lecture by Sheikh Saleh Sibevay, who emphasized the importance of reviving and adhering to the true traditions of the Prophet. He warned that without proper awareness, deceptive figures could mislead people with distorted interpretations of Islam.

The ceremony also included the recitation of poetry in praise of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Renowned eulogists Meysam Karami and Mirza Ahmad Sibevay delivered devotional recitations honoring the Prophet’s family.

The gathering concluded with a communal meal, fostering a spirit of unity among attendees.
