14th International Government Communication Forum Opens in Sharjah Focusing on Quality of Life

The two-day 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) commenced on Wednesday, bringing together experts and thought leaders to discuss critical global issues such as food security, public health, education, environmental sustainability, and the green economy, Arab News reported.
Launched in 2012 by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, this year’s forum centers on the theme “Communication for Quality of Life” and features 237 speakers from around the world.
A key focus of the discussions is food security, with experts exploring how governments can address this challenge during times of crisis.
Among the notable participants on Wednesday are Microsoft’s Chief Partnership Officer Sherif Tawfik, Purdue University’s Center for Global Food Security Managing Director Gary Burniske, and Tarifa Ajeif Alzaabi, Director-General of the International Center for Biosaline Agriculture.
