The Al-Askari Holy Shrine in Samarra, Iraq, inaugurated an international exhibition of Arabic calligraphy and painting, organized in collaboration with Qaf Art and Media Foundation. The three-day event featured 50 artists from eight Islamic countries, showcasing 33 works that included traditional calligraphy, classical and digital painting, as well as pieces integrating artificial intelligence techniques.
Visitors were offered an interactive experience to explore the aesthetics of Arabic script and themes of Islamic identity, drawing significant public interest. The exhibition highlighted the shrine’s efforts to promote Islamic art and foster cultural exchange among diverse communities.
