11 Dead, 2 Missing in Landslide and Cloudburst in Indian-Administered Kashmir

At least 11 people were killed and two remain missing after a landslide and a cloudburst struck separate districts in Indian-administered Kashmir, Anadolu Agency reported.

Seven members of a single family died in Reasi district when a landslide buried their home in Bhaddder village. Authorities confirmed that all bodies have been recovered.

In neighboring Ramban district, a cloudburst triggered flash floods, killing four people and leaving two others missing in Rajgarh. Rescue teams, including police and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), are searching for the missing.

The region has been battered by weeks of heavy monsoon rains, which have killed more than 80 people and left over 30 missing. Dozens of homes and key road links have been destroyed, with low-lying areas submerged by flash floods.
