Morocco Publishes New French 3-Volume Translation of Quran

A new French translation and interpretation of the Quran has been published in Rabat by Al-Buraq Publications, Iqna reported. Created by Abdel Haq Azouzi, this three-volume work (3,200 pages) goes beyond literal translation to preserve the beauty, accuracy, and spiritual depth of the original Arabic text.

Azouzi, a graduate of the University of Al-Qarawiyyin and educated in France, consulted classical and modern sources of interpretation to provide a precise and coherent understanding of the verses, respecting their thematic unity. His translation combines accuracy with literary style and semantic richness, offering a fresh approach for French-speaking readers.

The project took ten years and four rewrites. It also incorporates references to natural and human sciences to demonstrate the Creator’s power in the universe. The goal is to help both Muslims and non-Muslims study the Quran as a divine guide toward truth, moderation, morality, and ideal human values.
