Pakistan to File UN Complaint Against Taliban, India Over Terrorism Support

Islamabad is preparing to file a complaint with the United Nations, accusing the Taliban and India of supporting terrorism against Pakistan, Khaama Press reported. The complaint, announced by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram, cites their involvement in cross-border terrorism and support for militant groups within Pakistan.

Akram emphasized the need to expose India’s alleged complicity in terrorism on an international level, stating that Pakistan will utilize all diplomatic channels to hold India accountable. Both the Taliban and India have denied these allegations.

This announcement follows a recent incident where the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked a train in Balochistan, resulting in the deaths of 33 insurgents, four soldiers, and over 50 passengers. Pakistan claims the attackers were in contact with masterminds in Afghanistan, which the Taliban has rejected.
