Turkish Ambassador to Iraq visits Imam Hussein’s Holy Shrine in Holy Karbala

The Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Anil Bora Innan, expressed his honor and joy at visiting the shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) in Holy Karbala. He also reaffirmed his country’s commitment to strengthening cooperation with Iraq.
Accompanied by a delegation of Turkish business executives and company directors, Innan toured the sacred shrine and the central museum. During the visit, he met with several officials and discussed potential opportunities for collaboration between Turkish companies and their Iraqi counterparts.
“I am deeply honored to be in the presence of the grandson of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family), Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), and to reflect on his great sacrifices,” Innan stated.
Iraq’s revered shrines continue to attract ambassadors and officials from around the world, reflecting their significance as spiritual and cultural landmarks. The holy cities of Najaf and Karbala regularly welcome high-ranking visitors from various Arab and foreign nations, who come to pay their respects and engage in acts of worship.
