Muslims worldwide prepare to commemorate Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba’s blessed birth

The Islamic community is immersed in an atmosphere of joy and celebration as it prepares to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mujtaba, peace be upon him, the grandson of the Holy Prophet. This occasion falls in the middle of the blessed month of Ramadan and is marked by ongoing religious and cultural activities in Iraq and across the world.
These events are being held in response to the call of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, who has encouraged the global observance of Imam al-Hassan’s birth anniversary through the “Seven Hassani Days” initiative, which aims to highlight Imam al-Hassan’s esteemed position in Islam and promote his teachings and noble legacy.
Islamic centers, Husayniyas, and Shia communities worldwide have announced special programs for the occasion, while sacred shrines and revered sites are preparing for grand celebrations to honor this blessed anniversary.
Additionally, Imam Hussain Media Group has confirmed its readiness to broadcast the Hassani events and rituals. Meanwhile, Shia Waves correspondents will provide extensive coverage of the celebrations and special programs, including Quranic evenings, poetry recitals, and cultural seminars dedicated to Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba and his legacy of generosity and devotion.
