Global Shia blood donation campaign launched to honor Imam Hussein’s birth anniversary

In a gesture of sacrifice and humanity, Shia youth worldwide have launched a major blood donation campaign to mark the birth anniversary of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, on the 3rd of Sha’ban.

Under the slogan “Drops, Yet Life,” the initiative draws inspiration from Imam Hussein’s ultimate sacrifice, aiming to promote voluntary blood donation. Organizers emphasized that the campaign transcends sectarian lines, calling on everyone to participate in saving lives, especially cancer patients.

The donation drive runs for ten days, with collected blood units distributed to hospitals and blood banks. Previous editions saw significant participation, coordinated with health authorities to maximize impact.
