Grand Ayatollah Shirazi calls on Shia Muslims to unite and work collectively for progress and prosperity
The Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has urged Shia Muslims worldwide to take responsibility for their faith, lives, and communities, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective action to achieve success and advance society.
In a statement published on the official website, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stressed the need for determination, willpower, and mutual tolerance, pointing out that division and discord are explicitly prohibited in the Quran, asserting that unity among Shia Muslims is a direct path to success and the realization of shared goals.
The Grand Marja called on Shia Muslims to be “one hand and one voice,” urging them to avoid division and conflict due to their detrimental impact on societal strength and objectives. His Eminence frequently highlights the importance of unity among Muslims in general and Shia Muslims in particular during his speeches, statements, and daily scholarly sessions.
The Supreme Religious Marja, who adopts the slogan “Hussain Unites Us,”—a slogan that has become a symbol of unity and freedom for people worldwide—he encourages the practical application of these values in both individual and community life.
