Iraq’s Joint Operations Command announced Sunday that security forces continue operations to eliminate ISIS remnants and secure the region from terrorism, the Iraqi News Agency reported.
In a recent operation in the Anbar Desert near Rutba, the Counter-Terrorism Service discovered and neutralized two abandoned vehicles, a motorcycle, five explosive devices, an RBG7 launcher with missiles, and other materials used by ISIS.
The operation, based on precise intelligence, also targeted caves and guesthouses utilized by the group. Authorities confirmed that all seized items were handled according to standard procedures, reiterating their commitment to eradicating terrorism in the area.
