Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in Holy Najaf holds 2nd Women’s Forum for preaching
The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi in Holy Najaf held the 2nd Women’s Forum for Female Preachers under the theme “Women and Contemporary Challenges”.
The forum saw a notable attendance of a large number of female religious students and preachers and was organized in collaboration with the Risali Minbar Foundation. The discussions focused on the challenges women face in the modern era and how to address them from an Islamic perspective.
The event included a speech by Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Mohammad Taqi al-Dhakiri, the head of the Shirazi office in Holy Najaf, who highlighted the importance of the role of female preachers in addressing contemporary intellectual and social challenges.
Sheikh al-Dhakiri emphasized the need to intensify efforts in spreading religious culture and strengthening the role of women in tackling these challenges, based on the teachings of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
This forum is part of a series of educational and awareness-raising events aimed at empowering female preachers and enhancing their religious and academic capabilities to keep pace with societal changes and the challenges of the modern age.
