Pakistan: CTD Kills Two Terrorists in Dera Ghazi Khan Operation

The Punjab Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted a successful operation in Dera Ghazi Khan, resulting in the deaths of two terrorists on Thursday night, Dawn online newspaper reported.

Acting on intelligence regarding their presence, the CTD engaged in a gunfight where the terrorists were reportedly killed by their own accomplices. Two others managed to escape.

The operation yielded explosives, rifles, bullets, and a hand grenade, revealing plans for large-scale terrorist activities. This operation is part of a broader effort, with 33 suspected terrorists arrested in 475 intelligence-based operations across Punjab over the past month, amid a rise in nationwide attacks.
