Pakistani Forces Kill 15 Militants During Security Operations in Balochistan

Pakistani security forces have killed 15 militants during a series of intelligence-based and security operations in several areas of Balochistan province, officials said, as part of efforts to counter armed groups and improve security in the region.

Security sources said the operations targeted hideouts and locations allegedly used by militants, resulting in the deaths of 15 individuals described by authorities as terrorists, as well as the destruction of several sites believed to have been used for planning attacks against civilians and security personnel.

The operations come amid rising security tensions in Balochistan, where recent attacks have targeted major roads, civilian vehicles, trucks and passenger buses. Pakistani authorities have linked some of these incidents to militants associated with the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).

Security forces said search and intelligence operations will continue to track those involved in recent attacks and prevent armed groups from regrouping or carrying out further operations that threaten public safety and transportation networks.

Authorities stressed that the military and security agencies are continuing operations against armed and militant organisations across the province, with the stated aim of protecting civilians, securing vital infrastructure and maintaining stability.
