Afghanistan: Female students organize exhibition honoring Holy Ashura during Holy Arba’een

In the heart of Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan, coinciding with the Holy Arbaeen Pilgrimage, an exhibition titled “The Remaining from Paradise” was held to shed light on the epic of Ashura and the eternal revolution of Karbala.

Organized by female students from the “Israa Union for Science and Culture,” affiliated to Imam al-Sadiq Complex, the exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to glimpse the atmosphere of Holy Karbala and the sacrifices made by Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, his family, and companions.

The exhibition features nine different sections, each focusing on significant scenes from the Battle of Karbala. It showcases artistic works and pieces that depict the events of Ashura and the subsequent tragedies and sorrow.

The organizers have presented these scenes through innovative artistic approaches, blending historical authenticity with contemporary artistic vision to deepen visitors’ understanding of the importance of this great event.
