Security Forces Eliminate Five Terrorists in Khyber Operation

In a recent intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khyber district, five terrorists were killed on Sunday, Dawn Newspaper reported yesterday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in response to the reported presence of terrorists in the area.

Security forces engaged the militants effectively, leading to the elimination of five terrorists.

Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were also recovered from the slain individuals, who were actively involved in terrorist activities against security personnel and civilians. 

Pakistan has experienced a surge in terror incidents, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, following the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan’s withdrawal from a ceasefire in November 2022.
