Christian woman burns Holy Quran in Stockholm, Sweden

A Swedish woman, self-identified as “Woman of the Cross,” has burned a copy of the Holy Quran once again in the Skarholmen area of the Swedish capital, Stockholm. This is the same area where the 39-year-old Swedish man, Michael Janike, was killed in front of his son.

Dozens of people gathered to protest against the Quran burning, chanting slogans against its organizers and rejecting racism and hatred. According to local and international news outlets, this incident has sparked a widespread controversy.

The woman who burned the Quran stated, “I have seen Sweden’s Islamization. This has been going on for years. You can see how Islamists spread on all fronts, from security guards and cleaners to transportation workers and even in the political arena, Islamists are spreading in Sweden.”

She added, “Since I believe in Jesus Christ and take Christianity and the Bible as my guide, I believe that this should apply in Sweden, the Nordic countries, and Europe. The Gospel and Christianity have a place here, but Islam, its mosques, and anyone associated with it have no place in Sweden.”
