Protests across Bahrain prior to Independence Day

Hundreds of citizens took part in peaceful protests in different Bahraini villages as Bahrain’s Independence Day approaches.

 

Hundreds of citizens took part in peaceful protests in different Bahraini villages as Bahrain’s Independence Day approaches.

Demonstrators held anti-regime slogans and called to put an end to oppression and human rights violations and release the political prisoners.

The demonstrators, also demanded to stop targeting the Shia people.

The Bahraini authorities don’t commemorate the withdrawal of British occupation from the country on August 14, and considers the Accession Day a national day in Bahrain.
