Bahrain’s National Security Summons around 40 Activists

The National Security Apparatus (NSA) summoned about 40 human rights defenders and political activists for interrogation in the security agency complex in Muharraq.

 

 

The National Security Apparatus (NSA) summoned about 40 human rights defenders and political activists for interrogation in the security agency complex in Muharraq.

The activists were subjected to torture and received death threats. They were threatened to give up their activism, and the agency directly asked the activists to work for him.

They said activists, including Ebtisam Al-Sayegh, said they were tortured and ill-treated.

Yousef Al-Jamri was the last person summoned for interrogation in the security compound.
