Saudi forces continued raids on residents of al-Awamiyah in the kingdom’s Eastern Province with different types of ammunitions against the defenseless people.
The attack began in the wake of the announcement of the death of Major Tareq al-Allaiqi, the one that activists confirm beingas one of the leaders of the Saudi aggression that continues for more than a month on the town.
The attacks by the Saudi forces resulted in wounding dozens of innocent civilians including women and children.
Among the wounded was the well-known activist Mohammed al-Nimr, brother of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, who was shot in the foot by a Saudi sniper while driving to his home. Al-Nimrwas taken to a hospital and underwent surgery.
