The International Human Rights Organization Shia Rights Watch, launched a save call to avert the potential catastrophe in the Shia populated area of Awamiya.

 

The International Human Rights Organization Shia Rights Watch, launched a save call to avert the potential catastrophe in the Shia populated area of Awamiya.

The Organization said in a statement that the Saudi Shias are not even treated as second-class citizens anymore.

Six days in, the siege in Awamiya remains strong. Sources report that Saudi forces invaded the town, closed all entrances and started to demolish the 400 houses in the old neighborhood, shooting at buildings, businesses and cars. Local respondents report countless arrests.
