Senior Saudi cleric issues a fatwa prohibiting performing Hajj every year (Hajj)

A senior Saudi cleric has issued a controversial fatwa that prohibits performing Hajj every year regarding it as a sin and a way of deforming the image of Islam.

 

The fatwa caused a controversy on social networking where people disagreed for regarding Islam’s rituals as sins.

This is while the number of pilgrims during Araba’een’s visitation is 15 times more than the number of pilgrims during Hajj without any problems.

The Eminent Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Shirazi mentioned a narration in his book (Jurisprudence) that the number of pilgrims in Imam Sajjad’s era, peace be upon him, reached to 4 million pilgrims.
