Followers of Ahlulbayt in Pakistan revived Imam Ali Day, peace be upon him, a special commemorative day marking the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet’s cousin and son-in-law.

 

 

Followers of Ahlulbayt in Pakistan revived Imam Ali Day, peace be upon him, a special commemorative day marking the martyrdom anniversary of the Prophet’s cousin and son-in-law.

Imam Ali Day events include mourning processions, religious lectures and other activities. The day was revived in several Pakistani cities such as Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and a few others.

A symbolic funeral for Imam Ali, peace be upon him, was also organized.

It is noteworthy that the number of Shiites in Pakistan is increasing due to the people getting acquainted with the Ahlulbayt doctrine, which is based on equality and peace.
