Quranic Course underway in London

 

 A specialized course on Quranic sciences and the teachings of Ahl-ul-Bayt, peace be upon them, has been organized for male and female Quran teachers in the British capital, London.

According to Al-Kafeel website, the London-based branch of the Quranic institute affiliated to the custodianship of al-Abbas, peace be upon him, Holy Shrine is holding the course.

It is one of the series of specialized courses held by the shrine’s Center for Sciences, Interpretation and Printing of Quran.

“The Right Approach: Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt, peace be upon them” is the title of the book selected as the text book of the course.

It was written by Sheikh Ziyaeddin Al-Zubaidi, director of the center, and edited by Seyyed Mohammad Ali Al-Hulw, eminent Iraqi Shia scholar.

A number of Iraqi, Kuwaiti, Bahraini and Lebanese Quran teachers residing in Britain are among those taking the course.

Sheikh Zubaidi, who is also the supervisor of the Quranic program, said that the main objective of the course is to clarify the teachings of the Quran and Ahl-ul-Byt as the right approach and the right path.

Jalal Firuz, one of the teachers participating in the educational program, hailed the course for providing useful information.

Zeynab Mohamad, another participant, said that they learn how to get the students familiar with the correct methods of conducting research studies based on teh teachings of the Quran and Ahl-ul-Bayt, peace be upon them.
