US and UK Conduct Airstrikes in Yemen’s Hajjah Province

The Houthi group reported that US and UK forces carried out two airstrikes in the Bahis area of the Midi district in Yemen’s Hajjah province, Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.

The announcement was made by the pro-Houthi TV channel, Al-Masirah, which did not provide details on casualties or damage resulting from the strikes.

Hajjah province is currently under Houthi control and shares a border with Saudi Arabia. The US and UK have not yet commented on the airstrikes. The Houthis have been targeting vessels in the Red Sea linked to Israeli interests in solidarity with the people of Gaza, amidst ongoing tensions in the region.

Since January, a US-led coalition has conducted airstrikes in Yemen, claiming to target Houthi locations in response to attacks in the Red Sea. The situation remains volatile as both sides continue to escalate military actions.
