Islamic Society of Allentown provides 20,000 meals to combat hunger crisis

The Islamic Society of Allentown on Saturday prepared 20,000 meals to support individuals facing hunger, 69 News reported. This effort was carried out in partnership with Islamic Relief USA, a nonprofit organization focused on humanitarian aid and advocacy.
The meals consisted of rice, carrots, pinto beans, and spices. Around 80 volunteers participated in packing and distributing the food to those in need.
