Who is Hussain Organization breaks world record for largest number of blood donations in one day

Who is Hussain Organization started a global campaign in which they attempted to break the world record for the largest number of blood donations in one day, all in the name of Imam Hussein, peace and blessings be upon him.

 The worldwide event took place across 227 countries on Saturday 27th August 2022. Blood donation centers were set up across parts of the UK, including Birmingham, London, Luton, Leeds, Glasgow, Manchester Edinburgh and Aberdeen- as the NHs says donors are urgently needed to replenish stocks.

 The total number of the blood donations was 37,018 beating the previous record of 34,723 set in 2020, which was confirmed by the Official World Records.

 With up to three lives saved per donation, it is estimated over 110,000 lives could be saved by the British charity’s efforts.
